SinOne Gesture-Based Water Level Detection Technology
Water level detection technology has a wide range of applications in household appliances, industrial control, security, agriculture, and ecological environments. With the rapid advancement of science and technology, water level detection technology has also made continuous progress, evolving from traditional mechanical lever floats to electromagnetic water detection methods, such as reed switches and electrodes, and further to capacitive and ultrasonic detection technologies, greatly enhancing the performance and convenience of water level detection.
Traditional water level detection methods require placing the detection probe or sensor in the water, which can easily lead to water quality contamination. Additionally, these methods often impose high structural requirements on products, making water detection equipment prone to damage and reducing its lifespan.
SinOne's air-based water level detection technology addresses these issues, offering benefits such as being pollution-free, easy to use, and cost-effective. SinOne's air-based water level detection technology is based on the SinOne water level detection MCU, which includes a built-in water level detection circuit. It does not require external sensors, and the PCB does not need to be in contact with water; it can achieve air-based water level detection with insulation materials of 3-7 mm thickness and an air gap of 2 mm.
The high-sensitivity water level detection algorithm library can dynamically adapt to environmental changes, providing sensitive and stable water level detection.

Typical Applications:
Humidifiers / Atomizers:
Traditional humidifiers and atomizers use reed switches and magnetic rings for water level warning, which impose high structural requirements and incur higher costs.
By adopting a solution that integrates the SinOne MCU with water detection and touch control, a single chip can serve as the main controller, display, water level detector, and touch controller. The water level detection circuit can use springs or copper foil affixed to the bottom or side of the water tank.
This solution helps simplify the structural design of humidifiers and atomizers, reduces overall costs, and enhances product stability.

Coffee Machines / Water Dispensers:
Coffee machines and water dispensers often utilize movable water tanks, which are not suitable for using ball valves or electrodes for water level detection.
By employing SinOne's air-based water level detection technology, the detection PCB can be placed on both sides of the slot for the movable water tank. The tank itself does not require any sensing circuits or probes to be installed, allowing for an air gap between the tank and the slot, thus facilitating the removal and assembly of the water tank.
This solution effectively addresses the challenges of water level detection in movable water tanks, significantly reducing the complexity of product structural design and processing costs.
